RABAT

Imagine a white city rising up majestically at the estuary of a river, a city whose history goes back to the earliest times, whose beauties have been enhanced over the centuries, a city chosen to be the capital of the Almohad Empire in the 12th century, then of present-day Morocco: that city is Rabat, the Royal city.

Rabat boasts the biggest university of the country and the city abounds in shops, bookshops, cinemas and theatres.

Rabat is a kaleidoscope of colourful patios and exuberant gardens: the delightful Garden of Oudayas and the romantic gardens of the Chellah Necropolis. Set like a jewel amid magnificent surroundings, Rabat is endowed with long beaches with golden sand, the noble Mamora cork oak forest and the Royal Golf Dar-Es-Salam, one of the most beautiful courses in the world.

Rabat, the Royal city, gives its visitors a royal welcome
