This fantastic race is organised by the two-time World 400m Hurdles champion Nezha Bidouane.

More than 20,000 women of all ages took part in the second edition of the Women’s Race of Victory 2009 (17,000 runners in 2008). In the joyous atmosphere created around the starting line on the magnificent Boulevard de la Victoire (Victory Boulevard) in Rabat, young girls and women gathered for what is far more important than just a road race - Aged between 12 and 80, participants ran through the main streets of Morocco's capital city on a course that stretches 8.5 kilometres

Nezha_Bidouane

Nezha Bidouane  - organiser of the race and also the chairwoman of the "Women, Achievements and values" NGO, said: "This event aims to sensitize Moroccan women over the importance of sport as a means for social and professional integration, encourage them to join the national sports movement, and contribute to promoting physical exercise for women"
