Participants: Around 3,000 runners are expected to take part in the Casablanca Marathon 2011 with around 50.000 Spectators alongside the course.

The 5th Grand Marathon International de Casablanca will take place on Sunday 21 October 2012 and features:

MARATHON: departure at 08h00

HALF MARATHON: departure at 09h45

CORPORATE / TEAM RACE (RELAY): departure at 08h00

Depart point:  la Place Mohammed V
Finish Line:  la Place Mohammed V

Course:  The 42.195 km course of the Marathon ( approved by AIMS) will cross the main arteries of the city, and the large boulevards and avenues of Casablanca offering some good sceneries of the city - (The course of the Marathon is Flat)

* MARATHON: 42.195 Kilometres (Approved by IAAF & A.I.M.S)  - Depart from Place Mohammed V at 08:00

* HALF MARATHON – 21.100 Kilometres Depart from Place Mohammed V at 09:55

Timing:

RACE NUMBER with Electronic Chip

Timing is shown on electronic boards throughout the course

* All runners to be present at the Depart area at: 07H00

* Time limit: 05H30

*Every runners receives a Marathon Tee Shirt on arrival then a Medal after crossing the finish line

* Supply Stations at Km 5, Km 10, Km 15, Km 20, Km 25, Km 30, Km 35, Km40 and on arrival

* 7 Sponge Stations (7.5 Km – 12.5 Km- 17.5 Km – 22.5 Km – 27.5 Km – 32.5 Km – 37.5 Km) as by the rules of the IAAF

Pasta Party: a pasta party – Theme “Couscous” will take place on Saturday 20 October 2012 between 19h00 and 20h30 – limited to 300 runners only (first come first served) Price is 10 Euros per person (must be pre-booked)
